Hiking trail Međuvršje-Goliš-Lovćen Lake-Jezerski Peak

For those seeking a more dynamic and diverse hiking experience on Lovćen, the trail from Međuvršje to Jezerski Peak offers a perfect combination of challenge, natural diversity, and spectacular views.

The trail begins at the Međuvršje locality, situated below the western slopes of Jezerski Peak. Right at the start, you’ll encounter a steeper incline, which soon transitions into a mix of forested and open terrain.

Walking through dense beech forests alternates with open rocky areas, providing a varied landscape and hiking experience.

At one point, the route intersects with a trail leading toward the village of Njeguši, the hamlet of Bukovica, and further on to Cetinje. This connection makes the trail especially interesting for hikers who want to explore a wider area of Lovćen.

It is important to note that there are no drinking water sources along the trail, so bringing enough fluids is essential.

One of the most impressive parts of this hike is the ridge section. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Bay of Kotor and the surrounding hinterland.
